MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - A man is facing arraignment in the shooting death of another man in Manchester, New Hampshire, last month.
Billy Damuel Maldonado Cancel has been charged with second-degree murder.
He’s being arraigned Thursday in the death of 25-year-old Jonathan Vazquez-Ojeda, who was shot in the chest at an intersection. Vazquez-Ojeda was taken to a hospital, where he died.
Cancel, who was brought back from Connecticut, has been appointed a public defender.
