Line: South Florida by 6 1/2.

Series Record: Navy leads 1-0.

WHAT’S AT STAKE

Navy sits alone atop the American Athletic Conference’s West Division and looks to improve to 12-1 in league play since joining the league last year. South Florida aims to rebound from its first conference loss and retain at least a share of first place in the Eastern Division, where co-leader Temple owns a tie-breaker advantage after beating the Bulls 46-30 last week.

KEY MATCHUP

Navy’s potent rushing attack against a USF defense that yielded 319 yards on the ground in the Bulls’ loss at Temple. The Midshipmen are averaging 293.2 yards per game rushing, fourth in the nation, and ran for 442 yards - most ever by a USF opponent - on the way to a 29-17 victory in Annapolis a year ago.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

NAVY: QB Will Worth has rushed for 499 yards and nine touchdowns, while throwing for 688 yards and another five TDs. The senior from Valrico. Fla., a short drive from the USF campus, rushed for a career-high 201 yards and accounted for five TDs (three rushing, two passing) in last week’s 42-28 win over Memphis.

South Florida: RB Marlon Mack and dual-threat QB Quinton Flowers are the best one-two rushing combination in the AAC, averaging 94.1 and 93.1 yards per game, respectively. Flowers has thrown for 1,722 yards and 15 TDs, while also rushing for 745 yards and eight TDs.

FACTS & FIGURES

The Bulls are 10-22 all-time against ranked FBS opponents, 6-11 at home. … Navy is three wins shy of becoming the 24th FBS program - and first service academy - with 700 victories.
