No. 7 Nebraska (7-0, 4-0 Big Ten) at No. 11 Wisconsin (5-2, 2-2), 7 p.m. (ESPN)

Line: Wisconsin by 6½.

Series record: Wisconsin leads 6-4.

WHAT’S AT STAKE

Nebraska is looking to tighten its grip on the Big Ten West Division. Huskers could also use a statement win on the road to pad its playoff resume, especially with a visit to Ohio State looming next week. Wisconsin must win to keep alive hopes of getting to the conference title game. Both teams are playing “respect” cards.

KEY MATCHUP

Nebraska QB Tommy Armstrong Jr. vs. Wisconsin front seven. The seasoned senior can make plays with his arm and legs. He hasn’t quite seen a front seven like the one he’ll face in front of a hostile crowd at Wisconsin. The Badgers will play their first game without leading tackler Jack Cichy, though outside linebacker Vince Biegel is eager for the challenge of facing a mobile quarterback after missing J.T. Barrett and the loss to Ohio State with a foot injury.

PLAYERS TO WATCH

Nebraska: Armstrong has a big stage to prove that unbeaten Nebraska is for real.

Wisconsin: QB Alex Hornibrook. After two straight games of at least 134 yards for RB Corey Clement, the Cornhuskers figure to focus on the Badgers’ running game. Hornibrook has shown he can make accurate passes under pressure. The redshirt freshman hopes he can help his team improve in the red zone, which has been a season-long issue.
