MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - The Alabama Department of Corrections says an inmate has escaped from job site in Mobile.

The corrections department tells the Press-Register (https://bit.ly/2eZxquw) Devon Williams escaped around 6:30 a.m. Friday.

Corrections officials say Williams could be somewhere in the Mobile County area. He was wearing blue jeans, a red flannel shirt, a brown hat and work boots.

In May of 2014 he was sentenced to 15 years in prison at the Loxley Work Release Center for unlawfully breaking and entering a vehicle in Mobile County.
