PHILADELPHIA (AP) - A man has sued a Philadelphia strip club claiming he was stabbed by a stripper for refusing a private dance.
Philly.com (https://bit.ly/2eXkZjZ ) reports Errick Epperson sued Atlantis Gentleman’s Club in Common Pleas Court earlier this month. The club didn’t respond to the news site and didn’t immediately return a call Friday from The Associated Press.
Epperson isn’t suing the dancer who is identified in the lawsuit, but hasn’t been charged with a crime.
Epperson claims the club’s management hired the dancer even though she had a history of “erratic and tumultuous behavior.” Epperson claims he needed stitches after being stabbed in the neck with a broken glass July 23.
Epperson’s attorney says he reported the incident to police, but police say they don’t have an arrest warrant for the woman.
