GUADALUPE, Ariz. (AP) - Authorities say one of two people shot by a suspect in the small town of Guadalupe has died.

Maricopa County Sheriff’s officials didn’t immediately release the name and age of the man Friday afternoon or any information on the other person shot.

They say the two victims were approached by a suspect they didn’t know and that person shot them around 8:30 a.m.

The two victims drove themselves to a fire station in Guadalupe, which is near Tempe.

Authorities say the shooting suspect remains on the loose.

The sheriff’s office provides law enforcement for the town that has a population of about 5,000.
