FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) - Investigators say the wife of a Dallas-area teacher has been arrested for allegedly helping her husband clean up blood after a double slaying blamed on him.

Mansfield City Jail records show Tiffany Heath was being held Friday on a charge of tampering with physical evidence, with bond at $5,000.

Fort Worth police on Thursday arrested her in connection with last Sunday’s slayings. Cary Heath was charged with capital murder of multiple persons and arrested Monday at Permenter Middle School in Cedar Hill. His bond is $1 million.

Investigators are seeking a motive for the killings after the Heaths and the victims attended a neighborhood party. Two men were later found shot to death outside a nearby home.

Online jail records don’t list an attorney to speak for Tiffany Heath.
