WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) - Wilmington police say arrests have been made in two killings.

Police tell local news outlets that 18-year-old Zibree Brawley-Washington of Wilmington was arrested Oct. 4 in Philadelphia. Bradley-Washington is charged with first-degree murder in the Sept. 20 death of 45-year-old Johnny Lee Johnson who was found dead of a gunshot wound on his porch.

The U.S. Marshals Service says he originally gave a false name and was later identified by his tattoos.

In an unrelated case, 28-year-old Damian Gore of Wilmington was arrested in Fulton County, Georgia, on Tuesday. Gore is charged with first-degree murder in the shooting last December of 30-year-old Rashaun McKoy who was found dead in the yard of an abandoned home.

Both defendants are awaiting extradition. It was not immediately known if they had attorneys.
