GLENROCK, Wyo. (AP) - A 19-year-old woman has been charged in connection to an August crash that killed a woman near Glenrock.

Authorities say Cassandra Wickett was driving a truck on U.S. Highway 20.26 on Aug. 24 when she rammed into a line of four cars that had stopped for construction work. The driver of the last car in line, 75-year-old Leoda Cain, died days later from injuries sustained in the crash.

Police suspect Wickett used her phone while driving, causing her to not see the signs warning her to stop. She told investigators she fainted before the crash.

Wickett is charged with vehicular homicide, careless driving, failing to obey traffic control signs and interfering with a peace officer - all misdemeanors
