SAN ANTONIO (AP) - Police are investigating a deadly traffic accident in San Antonio that has killed four people in a fiery wreck.
Witnesses tell police that an SUV was speeding and travelling erratically northbound on a street Friday night when it clipped another vehicle and lost control.
Police say the SUV then swerved into the median, crossed into the southbound lanes and hit an 18-wheeler head-on.
Officers say the SUV might have gone airborne when it hit the median.
Police say the vehicle burst into flames after hitting the 18-wheeler.
Four people in the SUV were pronounced dead at the scene.
The names of the victims have not been released by authorities.
