State government should address environmental concerns such as coal ash and ensure public school funding goes to improve classrooms and instruction, he says, but school choice, including private schools and homeschooling, should also be embraced for students who don’t perform well in conventional settings. He also supports permitting marijuana use for medical purposes, saying it could also provide a revenue stream for the state.
