NEW YORK (AP) - To celebrate its upcoming exhibition on New York, the Museum of the City of New York is planning a weekend of events that will run nonstop for 32-hours.

The museum says Gotham Groove will kick off on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 10 a.m. and run through 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20. It will include morning yoga, musical performances, poetry readings, a silent disco, and an all-night movie marathon.

The festival will celebrate the launch on Nov. 18 of the museum’s new permanent exhibition called “New York at its Core.” The exhibition will explore the city’s four-century history and future through 400 objects and interactive galleries.

Advance registration for Gotham Groove is required; some events will be ticketed but museum admission will be free during the round-the-clock festival.
