When it comes to partying, as with golf, there ain’t no shame in Rickie Fowler’s game.
The 27-year-old Ryder Cup co-champion was captured by photographers in a priceless moment, shrugging as his teammates locked lips with their significant others.
“The rare 15th wheel, @RickieFowler [face with tears of joy emoji],” tweeted the NBC Sports Network Sunday night, captioning the photo.

The Fowler photo became something of a social-media sensation on Twitter overnight.
“Don’t worry @RickieFowler, all of America loves you [face throwing a kiss emoji],” tweeted the official account for the U.S. Ryder Cup team.
“This photo is so legendary,” cheered Forrest Gmitro, a marketing coordinator for the Florida Gators. “Rickie Fowler is the man [face with tears of joy emoji],” tweeted a college student. No, wrote another, “Rickie Fowler is GOAT [Greatest of All Time] for this…”
Thus far, however, there’s been no comment from the nation’s Duffer-in-Chief, President Obama.
An avid golfer — he reached his 300-rounds-as-president milestone in August — Mr. Obama did congratulate the Ryder Cup champions on Sunday, invoking the memory of the late great Arnold Palmer.
“What a win by the USA in #RyderCup,” wrote Mr. Obama. “Proud to see our guys bring the trophy back home. Arnie is smiling down.”
