HENRICO, Va. (AP) - One man has died and another has been injured after they were shot while fleeing from an attempted home invasion in Henrico.
Media outlets report police responded around 2 a.m. Saturday to the Three Chopt West apartments in Henrico. First responders found a man lying in the area with multiple gunshot wounds, and a walkie-talkie and flashlight nearby.
Responders found another man with gunshot wounds and a ski mask about 50 yards away.

Police say the two men had attempted to invade an apartment, and were shot by the victims has they fled.
Both of the would-be robbers were taken to an area hospital, where one died from his gunshot wounds. Police haven’t released his identity.
The victims, a man and a woman, were unharmed.
No charges have been filed.
