MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Business leaders, parents and community members will be hearing from New Hampshire’s U.S. Senate candidates at a forum in Manchester.
The Campaign for a Family Friendly Economy organized Monday’s event in Manchester. Participants will hear from Democratic Gov. Maggie Hassan, followed by Republican Sen. Kelly Ayotte.
Ayotte, who is seeing a second term, is in a tight race with Hassan. The contest is one of half a dozen around the country that will determine which party controls the Senate.
The event is being held at Southern New Hampshire University.
