LOS ANGELES (AP) - The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says a deputy shot and wounded a man who was stabbing a woman outside a courthouse.
Sheriff’s Deputy Juanita Navarro says that the wounded man was taken to a nearby hospital Monday and that his condition is unknown.
Los Angeles police Officer Norma Eisenman says deputies and courthouse security reported seeing the man stabbing the woman outside Chatsworth Courthouse, and that’s when he was shot.
She says the attack is suspected to be domestic violence and that the woman is expected to survive.
