PORT JEFFERSON, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities have recovered the body of a 73-year-old Long Island man who went missing after a 20-foot boat was found overturned in the waters off Port Jefferson.
Suffolk County police say the body of James Bilello, of Bay Shore, was found at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday near the lighthouse at the end of Old Field Road in Old Field.
The body of a second man, 80-year-old Charles Petrie, of Holtsville, was found on Tuesday when Coast Guard officials discovered the overturned boat just west of the Port Jefferson Channel.
