BANGOR, Maine (AP) - The Libertarian Party’s vice presidential candidate William Weld is coming to Bangor to hold a town hall meeting with residents.

Weld, a former governor of Massachusetts, will appear at Spectacular Events Center from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday night. He is running with former New Mexico Gov. Gary Johnson on the Libertarian ticket this year.

Johnson and Weld also made a campaign appearance in Maine in late August. The two made stops in Portland and Lewiston.

The pair fell short of their goal to reach the polling threshold to appear in debates with Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and Republican nominee Donald Trump.
