BOISE, Idaho (AP) - Investigators do not suspect foul play in the death of a woman whose body was found in a canal southwest of Boise.

KTVB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2e1R7Cz) 37-year-old Melissa Mariscal had been missing for almost a week when her body was spotted Friday morning.

The coroner said Mariscal died in the canal but that investigators do not think foul play was involved.

Further testing will be conducted to try and determine the cause of death.

It’s unclear how or when she entered the canal.
