Man, 20, shot dead inside apartment in front of mother

CHESTER, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a 20-year-old man was shot and killed in front of his mother inside a residence in the violence-plagued city of Chester near Philadelphia.

WPVI-TV (https://6abc.cm/2e59dYe ) reports that several suspects forced their way into the apartment shortly after midnight Saturday.

Police said one of the suspects shot the victim several times. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His mother wasn’t injured.

The victim’s name wasn’t immediately released. The suspects fled and no arrests have been reported in the case.
