It’s pretty well-known that baseballs generally make their way into stands. Whether it’s a foul ball or a player tossing one up after the third out, you have to keep your head up.
Unfortunately for Alyssa Gerharter, a tossed ball by Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig ended up knocking out one of her front teeth.

But the diehard Dodgers fan was right back at Dodger stadium the very next day. And Puig just had to meet her.
Had to make sure my friend was ok after she was hit with a ball #PuigMyTooth ⚾️💢😁 pic.twitter.com/D2PLptUX39

Puig also gave Gerharter a signed ball. We think it’s safe to presume it was handed to her and not tossed.
Heading into the game while she still had her two front teeth, Gerharter tweeted out the hashtag #PuigYourFriend. But after having her tooth knocked out, Gerharter switched to #PuigNotYourFriend.
But, after the two met, Puig got back on Gerharter’s good side, earning a much better hashtag.
“can you catch this one??” 😂😂😂 @YasielPuig #puigmyfriend #puigmytooth pic.twitter.com/cCmlgddKkD
