TUCSON, Ariz. (AP) - Tucson police are investigating a multi-vehicle collision that has led to the death of a 65-year-old woman.

Crash investigators say the incident happened Friday around 7:20 a.m. in Tucson’s midtown area.

According to witnesses and preliminary evidence, a man driving an SUV struck two vehicles, one on the driver’s side door when he failed to stop for a red light at an intersection.

Police say Kathleen Forshay was driving that car and she suffered life-threatening injuries.

Forshay was rushed to a hospital but died a short time later.

There were no other injuries.

Police are still investigating the crash and there have been no arrests or citations.

They do not believe impairment was a factor.
