BOW, N.H. (AP) - The Bow Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a 38-year-old transient wanted on several active warrants.

Police are looking for Christopher Benson, who escaped on foot after he was approached by officers Saturday at a convenience store on state Route 3A in Bow.

Benson is believed to be homeless and in the Concord area. Police say he may have ties to Weare as well.

Benson has an outstanding parole warrant for burglary and is wanted in Bow for resisting arrest and being a felon in possession of a dangerous weapon.

Police say Benson was last seen wearing yellow shorts and a black shirt. He’s 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds.

Citizens who locate Benson are advised to call police and stay away him.
