ALEXANDRIA, La. (AP) - The trial of a woman accused in a February 2015 slaying has been continued until next year.
The Town Talk reports (https://townta.lk/2cO8eYj) the trial of 26-year-old Melissa Hayes was scheduled to be held this week. Hayes is accused in the death of 18-year-old Kiasha Clovis, who was found dead in an apartment on Feb. 13, 2015.
Her brother, Mark Will Hayes, also faces trial in the death of Clovis and 25-year-old Richard Prenell. His trial on two counts of second-degree murder also was moved earlier this month to Feb. 6.
