HARRISVILLE, Utah (AP) - Police in Utah are looking for a man who was on parole when he stabbed another man in the chest.

The Deseret News reports (https://bit.ly/2daRZFH ) that police are searching for 26-year-old Cameron Aaron of Ogden.

Harrisville Police Chief Max Jackson says Aaron violently knocked on a door of a 40-year-old man and woman on Sunday afternoon. Jackson says the man went out the back door, but was confronted by Aaron in the driveway and stabbed in the chest after a fight.

Police weren’t sure Sunday whether Aaron and the stabbing victim knew each other or what motivated the stabbing.

Jackson says the victim was talking to detectives after surgery Sunday night.

According to court records, Aaron has been convicted of forgery, assault and DUI.
