GIBBON, Neb. (AP) - The Nebraska State Patrol has identified three people killed in a fiery crash last week on Interstate 80 in south-central Nebraska.

The patrol says the crash happened Friday afternoon east of Gibbon when an eastbound semi blew a tire and hit several other vehicles.

The semi and a pickup rolled and burst into flames, killing the semi’s driver, 73-year-old Donald Cox, of Columbia, Tennessee. Also killed were the pickup’s driver, 20-year-old Tanner Allen, of Imperial, and 22-year-old passenger Christopher Bieber, of Holyoke, Colorado.

The occupants of the other vehicles were either uninjured or suffered minor injuries.
