QUINCY, Mass. (AP) - A Massachusetts woman was killed after her husband struck her with his van as he was backing out of a driveway.
The Boston Globe reports (https://bit.ly/2c9L6pc) it happened just before 2:30 p.m. Friday in Quincy.
The victim, 52-year-old Zhen Li, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Her husband told police the crash was an accident. Police say the 54-year-old man was taken to an area hospital because he was distraught. Police haven’t released his name.
Police say no charges have been filed pending the outcome of an investigation.
Li’s family could not be reached for comment.
