CORNELIUS, Ore. (AP) - Cornelius Police arrested a man on various charges with the help of a police K-9.
KATU-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2czU3tK ) that a woman flagged down a Washington County Sheriff’s deputy Saturday night, reporting her ex-boyfriend damaged her car and threatened her.
As she spoke with the deputy, the suspect drove by and the deputy gave chase. Daniel Lozano of Forest Grove refused to stop and led deputies on a chase.
Deputies eventually used a PIT maneuver to stop Lozano. He refused to get out of his car and was eventually bitten by a Hillsboro Police K-9.
Lozano was treated at a hospital and released. He was charged with attempting to elude an officer, reckless endangering, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, and reckless driving. More charges are possible.
