CORINNA, Maine (AP) - Maine State Police are investigating a two-car crash that claimed the life of a Dover-Foxcroft man.

Troopers say 56-year-old James Maloney was ejected and died from his injuries after his Jeep was struck Saturday afternoon by a pickup truck driven by a 16-year-old in Corinna.

Maloney’s wife and their dog also suffered injuries. Police described the spouse’s injuries as serious but not life-threatening. The dog was taken to a vet.

Police say the juvenile driving the pickup was not hurt.

The crash remains under investigation.
