TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - The University of Alabama has launched a new advertising campaign.
The “Where Legends are Made” promotional campaign debuted with a television spot during Saturday’s season opener between the Crimson Tide and the University of Southern California.
The Tuscaloosa News (https://bit.ly/2cjCI3x ) reports that the campaign will highlight the stories of success and excellence of the university’s graduates.
Linda Bonnin, the university’s vice president for strategic communications, tells the newspaper that the campaign was designed to capture the identity of the university, both academically and athletically.
The rollout will include digital, TV and print ads, merchandise and social media. The university also launched a website, www.ua.edu/legends that will profile some of the university’s most notable graduates.
