PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Authorities say a shooting in Philadelphia claimed the life of one man and critically injured another.

Officers responded just after 9:30 p.m. Sunday to a report of a person with a gun in the city’s Strawberry Mansion section north of the downtown area and found two people outside, both with multiple gunshot wounds.

The two were taken to Temple University Hospital, where a 27-year-old man was pronounced dead just before 10 p.m. Sunday. A 47-year-old man was listed in critical condition.

Police said the motive for the shooting is unknown and no arrests were immediately reported.
