SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Utah officials say a motorcycle driver died in Salt Lake City after crashing into a concrete barrier.

KSL-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2oRKTh2) that 48-year-old John Unker was not wearing a helmet when he lost control of his motorcycle Sunday night.

Utah Highway Patrol says the man from South Jordan was driving on the northbound I-15 ramp when he collided with the barrier. Officials say he may have lost control because of how fast he was going.

Officials closed the ramp after the crash, but it was reopened Monday morning.
