LAKELAND, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a woman was injured when she rear-ended a commuter bus in Lakeland.

The Ledger (https://goo.gl/1ssGIl ) reports that the crash occurred shortly before noon Tuesday.

Lakeland police spokesman Gary Gross says the Citrus Connection bus was unloading passengers when the SUV crashed into it. He said there were no serious injuries on the bus.

The woman driving the truck was taken to a nearby hospital, but her injuries weren’t considered life-threatening. Gross says she was charged with careless driving.
