TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Police have identified a man who they say shot a female multiple times Thursday. He is still at large.
AL.com reports (https://bit.ly/2ph1JTg ) 32-year-old Tyriss Mikal Fowler has been charged with attempted murder and shooting into an occupied vehicle. Tuscaloosa County Metro Homicide Unit Spokesman Kip Hart says that Fowler shot the unnamed victim while she was in her car. He then tried to flee, but his vehicle was struck by the victim’s car. He abandoned his vehicle after driving a short distance.
The victim was found with life-threatening injuries and remains in critical condition. The shooting’s motive is unknown. Hart says Fowler and the victim knew each other, but police do not know the extent of the relationship.
Hart says Fowler is considered to be armed and dangerous.
