YONKERS, N.Y. (AP) - Police say an employee was fatally stabbed inside a movie theater in Yonkers.

WCBS-TV (https://cbsloc.al/2oKF2cG ) reports the incident happened shortly after midnight Saturday morning.

When police arrived at the Showcase Cinema de Lux they found a 19-year-old man in the lobby of the theater with a stab wound to his chest.

He was taken to New York Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

Police say after a dispute, the suspect stabbed the victim with a knife and fled.



Investigators believe the two men may have known each other previously.

The stabbing happened after the final movies of the evening were ending.

The victim was not immediately identified.
