ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - A New York City-based beauty brand is expanding its New York headquarters to create more than 200 new jobs.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Glossier is expanding its headquarters to a 26,000-square-foot space in One SoHo Square at 161 6th Avenue.

The skincare and makeup brand was created in 2014 from beauty blog Into the Gloss and was named one of the Top 50 Most Innovative Companies in 2017 by Fast Company Magazine.

Cuomo says the move will create 282 new jobs and retain 61 existing jobs in technology, finance, marketing and operations.

The state’s Empire State Development economic fund will provide $3 million in tax credits for the expansion.
