EXMORE, Va. (AP) - A man photographing a truck race in Exmore was accidentally struck and killed.

Virginia State Police say officers were called to the Belle Haven Moose Lodge just after 3 p.m. on Saturday for a pedestrian struck by a mud hop vehicle. Police say the Moose Lodge was hosting a Mud Bog event, and that 48-year-old Rick Ulerick was hit while taking pictures of the race in the pit. Police say a truck hit and killed the man, and the incident is being investigated as an accidental death.
