HAMPTON, N.H. (AP) - A busy day for firefighters has authorities warning that conditions are dangerously dry across parts of New Hampshire.

Brush fires were reported in at least nine different towns across the state on Saturday. WMUR-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2pG71Yf) that one of the bigger fires was in Greenland, which broke out just after crews had cleared the scene of a brush fire in nearby Hampton.

Hampton Fire Capt. David Mattson says winds can quickly dry out brush, allowing a fire to accelerate quickly.
