LYNN, Mass. (AP) - Police are searching for a suspect who they say killed one man and injured another in an Easter Sunday shooting in the heart of a Massachusetts city.
Police say the shooting happened in downtown Lynn around 3 p.m. Sunday. Officials say the two men were shot outside of the LynnArts building.
Both victims were taken to hospitals.
The Essex district attorney’s office says 46-year-old Leonardo Clement, of Lynn, was pronounced dead at North Shore Medical Center.
A 41-year-old man, whose name was not disclosed, was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He is expected to survive.
No arrests have been made. An investigation is ongoing.
