BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) - An investigation is underway after a woman’s body was found in southeastern Montana over the weekend.

Crow Homeland Security cabinet head Alden Big Man Jr. tells KULR-TV (bit.ly/2pan4B1) that the body of Bonnie Threeirons was found Friday evening east of Lodge Grass, near the border between the Crow and Northern Cheyenne Indian reservations. She was in her 30s. Big Man says Threeirons reportedly had been in an altercation at a party before she went missing sometime Sunday.

An autopsy was planned. The Bureau of Indian Affairs and the FBI are aiding the investigation.

FBI Agent Travis Burrows says the agency learned on Thursday that Threeirons was missing.
