FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (AP) - Coconino County Sheriff’s officials say crews are involved in two different rescue operations, one near Flagstaff and the other near Page.

They say a 70-year-old woman suffered a broken ankle Tuesday afternoon in West Clear Creek near the Maxwell Trailhead some 55 miles south of Flagstaff.

The sheriff’s search and rescue unit is at the scene along with personnel from the Coconino National Forest and Blue Ridge Fire Department.

The sheriff’s unit also is responding to a report of a man injured in a 30-foot fall southwest of Page.

Authorities say the man was climbing near Water Holes Canyon at the time.

The names of the man and woman aren’t immediately available.
