PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say they’re speaking with a person who reportedly has a knife and who has barricaded himself alone in a room at a vocational college.

Sgt. Vince Lewis says there have been no threats or injuries in the incident involving a person who isn’t a student and who walked onto a DeVry University campus in northwest Phoenix Tuesday morning.

Lewis says an unspecified number of students have been temporarily relocated on the campus for their safety and that police are speaking to the barricaded person through the door of the room.

The person’s age wasn’t released and no additional information is immediately available.
