MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Two people have been arrested after Mobile police seized more than 10 pounds of highly pure crystal methamphetamine in a drug sting.

AL.com reports (https://bit.ly/2nXJSDY ) the drugs confiscated Sunday morning are worth nearly half a million dollars.

Police say 36-year-old Adam Hanshew and 32-year-old Amanda Bagwell of southeast Mississippi became suspects during a long-term investigation into a drug trafficking organization importing large amounts of meth into Mobile and surrounding areas. Police identified routes, vehicles and locations used in the drug shipments.

Hanshew and Bagwell have been charged with trafficking methamphetamine.
