SYRACUSE, Utah (AP) - A Utah teen is in serious condition after being struck by two cars, one of which pinned him to the ground.

Reports Tuesday morning out of Syracuse say a 15-year-old was in a crosswalk when he was hit by a southbound vehicle Monday night. The impact threw him into the path of a car heading north, which pinned him.

Police say bystanders lifted the car off of the boy and a medical helicopter flew him to the hospital with pretty serious injuries.

No one else was injured and police are still investigating. No citations were issued on scene.
