INDIANAPOLIS (AP) - Authorities say two people have died following a rollover crash on Interstate 70 in Indianapolis that ejected all five occupants from an SUV.

Indiana State Police say 17-year-old driver Taylor Parsons of Indianapolis and 18-year-old passenger Brandon Gross of Indianapolis died following the crash around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday. Police say the other three passengers were critically injured.

A preliminary investigation found that the SUV was speeding in the left lane and tried to cross all three lanes in an apparent attempt to exit the freeway. Police say the SUV slid into the grass before rolling and none of those inside were wearing seat belts.

The crash is under investigation and police are looking into whether another vehicle was chasing the SUV following an incident at an area park.
