BOSTON (AP) - At least 17 people were displaced after a fire ripped through adjacent homes in a Boston neighborhood.
The Boston Fire Department says it responded to the 6-alarm blaze across from Dorchester’s Ronan Park at about 4 a.m. Sunday.
A row of triple-decker residential buildings was damaged, including one building that was empty while under renovation. Fire crews estimated more than $2.5 million in damage.
A firefighter suffered an ankle injury later in the morning as crews were responding to hot spots that flared up inside two of the buildings. None of the residents of the buildings was injured.
