MINOT, N.D. (AP) - The Souris Valley Animal Shelter in Minot is trying to raise money for a $3.2 million expansion and remodeling.
Shelter Director Randy McDonald tells the Minot Daily News https://bit.ly/2q7sBoG that the first phase of the project involves an expansion that will more than double the size of the 5,600-square-foot shelter. Nearly one-third of the $1.4 million needed for the work has already been raised.
The project’s second phase involves $800,000 in upgrades to the current building.
Site development and other costs will raise the total price tag to $3.2 million.
