RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Two Wake County students have been arrested in connection with a rape reported at Athens Drive High School.

Raleigh police tell local media that 18-year-old Ajeema Caribe Bullock and a 16-year-old male student were arrested Saturday.

Police say the 16-year-old faces second-degree forcible rape and first-degree sex offense charges connected to Friday’s reported incident. Bullock, a senior, faces aid and abetting first-degree sex offense and common law obstruction of justice charges.

According to arrest warrants, Bullock acted as a lookout for the juvenile as he assaulted the victim. Warrants also say he lied to police about the assault.

Both are scheduled to have their first court appearance Monday.

It’s unclear if Bullock or the juvenile have attorneys.
