PHOENIX (AP) - Lottery officials say the winning ticket for the $60 million jackpot in the latest Powerball game was sold in the small town of Littlefield, Arizona.
Littlefield is about 15 miles from the point where the Utah, Nevada and Arizona borders meet in the northwest part of Arizona.
Lottery officials say the winning ticket for last Saturday’s multi-state drawing was bought at the Scenic General Store in Littlefield.
Arizona Lottery spokeswoman Nikki O’Shea says the winner has 180 days to claim the prize.
She says the winner can either take the $60 million over a 30-year annuity or the cash lump sum of $36.4 million.
The last time Arizona had a Powerball jackpot winner was in November 2012. That person split the $587.5 million jackpot with another winner in Missouri.
