GREENVILLE, S.C. (AP) - Two people were sent to the hospital after a school bus drove off the road and into a ditch in Greenville County.

Greenville County Schools spokeswoman Beth Brotherton tells local media outlets the bus driver and a school aide were sent to the hospital after the Tuesday afternoon crash.

Brotherton says there were no students on board the bus, which was heading to the Washington Center, a school for children with special needs.

Authorities are investigating the crash and haven’t said what may have caused it.
